JANUARY 16, 2010 MEETING

$1000 DONATED TO HAITI EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS

ALUMNI MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE JANAURY 16, 2010 MONTHLY MEETING  OF THE PHILLIPS/BRICKS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO DONATE $1000 TO THE HAITI RELIEF FUND TO HELP EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS.  THE DONATION WAS FORWARDED TO A LOCAL RECEIVING AGENCY BY THE TREASURER.

BOOKS for PHILLIPS MIDDLE SCHOOL LIBRARY DELIVERED MAY 2008

The 2008 Phillips-Bricks School Reunion book drive collected 42 books and $125 in donations for the Phillips Middle School library.  Brenda Asbury and Maurieta Cozart delivered the books and check donations to the Phillips Middle School office staff on June 17.   Mr. Etheridge, the Principal of PMS, later sent a note of deep appreciation to the Alumni Association and all of the donors for thier efforts. We encourage you to consider this cause for next year so that we can give even more books and/or money to buy books for the library. This is something that ALL of the children can benefit from.
