Golden Anniversary

"50 Years of Blessings"

The Class of 1958  celebrated their Golden Anniversary at last year's Alumni Reunion in May 2008.  In celebration, they held a reunion breakfast on, Saturday, May 24, 2008 with a program and a commemorative souvenir booklet.  They were also hosts and organizers of the Scholarship banquet on Saturday night  for the Phillips/Bricks school-wide reunion with members presenting songs and words of inspiration to attendees.

The Class of 1958  remembered and celebrated the lives of those fallen classmates:  Isaac "Butch" Rogers, Shirley Pierce Miller and Marjorie Graham. In their words "We will remember you lovingly and cherish the time of our youth as members of the Phillips High School Class of 1958."  The 50th Reunion Celebration Committee was chaired by Maurieta Cozart.

CLASS OF 1969

The Class of 1969 made plans in 2010 to get together for a reunion cruise in 2012 to recognize their 43 years out of high school.  Although a small group of classmates (5) and family and friends (10) finally made the commitment, it was a wonderful time for the total group of 15.
A beautiful, fun filled, 5 day-voyage at sea to the island of BERMUDA from  the port in Baltimore, Maryland included, great food, spectacular scenery, relaxation, wonderful fellowship and fun activities.  Attendees enjoyed time to themselves and with the group.  We had dinner together each evening, with many laughs and great conversation, remembering old times.  It was a memorable voyage for us all!
